What is Atlas Key Concierge?

Atlas Key is our concierge rebooking service included with the free Concierge plan. When a price drop is detected, our team handles the entire rebooking process for you -- canceling your existing reservation and rebooking at the lower rate, so you save without lifting a finger.

Do I need a flexible booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In order to track rates, members should have a flexible booking to start with. Flexible or fully refundable bookings allow you to cancel and rebook at a lower rate without penalty. If you have a prepaid or non-refundable booking, rebooking will involve cancellation fees that may offset your savings.

Can I track Bonvoy points bookings?

Yes! RoomRadar supports both cash and points bookings. If you booked a stay using Marriott Bonvoy points, we'll track the points rate and alert you if the cost drops so you can rebook and get points back.

How quickly will I be notified?

Within minutes of detecting a price drop. Our priority scanning (available on Pro plans) checks rates multiple times per day, while standard scanning runs daily. You'll receive an email notification with the exact savings amount and a link to rebook.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

Yes, cancel anytime from your account settings. If you cancel during the 7-day free trial your card is never charged and access ends immediately. After the trial, your active monitors keep running until the end of your current billing period.

How does the 7-day free trial work?

Accepted Answer

Pick Starter or Pro at signup and add a card. You get full access to that plan for 7 days. We'll send you a heads-up email the day before your trial ends so the first charge isn't a surprise. Cancel any time in those 7 days and you won't be billed a cent.

What is Pay As You Go?

If you only have an occasional trip to watch, Pay As You Go is the cheapest way to use RoomRadar. Sign up free with no card. Buy the Small Pack ($10 for 5 credits, $2 per credit) or the Saver Pack ($20 for 12 credits, $1.67 per credit — 20% bonus credits). Tracking a stay costs 1 credit per month of tracking, rounded down (a stay 30 days out = 1 credit / $2, 70 days = 2 credits, 6 months = 6 credits). Code comparisons and Mega Search runs cost 1 credit each. Credits never expire. We scan rates every 48 hours on Pay As You Go (Starter is daily; Pro is every 4 hours).

What is the no-drop guarantee?

On Pay As You Go, if you track a stay 6+ months in advance and we never find a price drop, we refund every credit back to your account at check-in. Risk-free long-lead tracking. Disqualifiers: deleting the booking before check-in, marking it as self-rebooked, or losing tracking continuity (e.g. paused while a subscription was canceled). The refund issues automatically the morning after check-in.

Nope. RoomRadar is an independent service -- we're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Marriott International. We just really like their hotels and thought someone should build a tool to help people stop overpaying for them.

How do hotel prices actually drop after booking?

Accepted Answer

Hotel prices fluctuate constantly based on demand, seasonality, and inventory. A rate you booked 3 months ago might drop 20% as the hotel tries to fill remaining rooms closer to your dates. Most people never check again after booking -- that's where we come in.

What do I actually do when a price drops?

You have two options: rebook it yourself (cancel the old reservation, make a new one at the lower rate) or let our Atlas Key concierge team handle it for you. Either way, you keep the same room type and dates -- just at a lower price.

Do you sell my data?

Accepted Answer

No. We encrypt your personal information at rest and we don't sell, share, or trade your data with third parties. We make money from subscriptions and hotel commissions through Atlas Key -- not from your data. We're a startup trying to earn your trust, not lose it.

Why only Marriott? Will you support other hotel chains?

We started with Marriott Bonvoy because it's the world's largest hotel loyalty program with 30+ brands and 8,000+ properties. We wanted to get one chain right before expanding. Other chains are on the roadmap -- but honestly, we're a small team and Marriott keeps us pretty busy.

What are Smart Switch Alerts?

A Pro-only alert that doesn't just track the rate you booked — it watches every comparable rate on your stay. If Marriott releases a new promo or member rate that's cheaper than what you booked, and it's the same room type and same refundability (refundable vs. non-refundable), we email you with the new rate name, price, savings, and a one-tap link to book it. Useful when sales or last-minute promos roll out months after you've already booked.

What is Rate Catcher and who is it for?

Rate Catcher watches for Marriott's Explore Rate (MMP) and Explore Friends Rate (MMF) at a specific hotel and dates. These rates are limited — Marriott often releases them only days before check-in and they can disappear fast. To use Rate Catcher your Marriott Bonvoy account needs to be digitally linked to one of these programs by a sponsor or associate (as of April 2026, Marriott moved the Explore system from paper forms to digital account-linking). RoomRadar doesn't grant or unlock access — we just catch the rate the moment it opens so you can book before it's gone. Pick MMP or MMF, set the catcher, and we'll re-check every four hours and alert you via email and the Chrome extension on the first hit.
